Serengeti

We recommend two different types of lodges for your time on the Serengeti.  Since the
Serengeti is so large it warrants spending at least two nights and three days to get the full experience of this area.  We recommend staying at a tented camp at least one of your nights.  A mid-priced semi-luxury tented camp is as listed below:

Serengeti National Park

Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder.  The Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle, and, of course, lions, cheetah and leopards.

Prices vary from the time of year planning, to the fluctuating value of the US Dollar.  Depending on the type of accommodations you request, number in your party, and the number of days you wish to choose. 

We request that you plan and book your safari 90 days prior to your visit to assure you receive the best prices and to assure availability at the various lodges.  This is extremely important during the high seasons (June, July, and August) and (November, December,  and January).
